Members of choirs stand while singing for several reasons. Firstly, standing allows for better breath control and support, which is essential for producing a strong and consistent sound. Additionally, standing helps singers project their voices and engage their entire body in the performance, leading to a more dynamic and expressive delivery. Standing also allows for better visual communication and coordination among choir members, as they can see each other and their conductor more easily. Overall, standing while singing helps to enhance the overall performance and presentation of the choir. **

Yes, I am familiar with rap songs that feature children's choirs in the chorus. One example that comes to mind is "Jesus Walks" by Kanye West, which includes a children's choir singing the chorus. Another example is "Lost Ones" by Lauryn Hill, where a children's choir is also featured in the chorus. These songs use the children's choir to add a unique and uplifting element to the music. **
